不像大部分的同志主題電影過度拘泥於性愛，毒品，這類的負面題材。避風港很好的呈現了每個同志在出櫃的時候可能會經歷的認知過程以及跟家人的磨合。
整部電影步調還算輕快，非常推薦一看，配樂方面也很不賴。不過...嘿，同志電影的配樂一直以來都相當不錯的不是嘛
